CARBSE becomes Accredited Independent Testing Laboratory of the Cool Roof Rating Council

The building energy performance laboratory at CARBSE, CRDF, CEPT University becomes an approved Accredited Independent Testing Laboratory (AITL) of the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC). CARBSE becomes the seventh lab and first AITL outside the US. The CRRC is a not-for-profit organisation that develops unbiased, accurate, and credible methods to evaluate radiative properties of building roofing and exterior wall materials and products. 

Recognised by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and International Glazing Database (IGDB), and with nearly 20 years of expertise in building materials, envelope, and building system performance characterisation, including cool roofs, insulation, glass, and cooling systems, CARSBE remains committed to offering its knowledge and services to promote energy-efficient and climate-responsive built environments.
